Nickel and its alloys are widely used in high-performance engineering applications due to their exceptional mechanical properties. This combined study focuses on two topics: (1) strategies to enhance nickel and its alloys through controlled addition of alloying elements, and (2) a detailed investigation into how these additives—such as chromium, molybdenum, titanium, aluminum, and rare earths—affect the strength and ductility of nickel-based alloys
