Abstract

This study focuses on the production of metal-graphite composite bearings using powder metallurgy techniques, emphasizing their applications in extreme operating conditions. The process involves powder mixing, pressing, and sintering. Additional steps include doping with sulfur to enhance anti-friction properties. The resulting bearings exhibit superior wear resistance, self-lubricating capabilities, and high-temperature stability. Applications in corrosive and abrasive environments highlight the versatility and robustness of these materials.
